Beautiful Beginnings started celebrating babies in 1995 when sisters Jackie Wilkinson and Debbie Feiler realized their true passion…babies! With 11 children between them, their love for babies does not go unnoticed and they love to help busy moms and moms-to-be!
Beautiful Beginnings has become the trusted consultant to a new generation of mothers who appreciate the shop’s attention to detail. Located in historic Western Springs and Chicago’s Lincoln Park, Beautiful Beginnings offers the most beautiful selection of must-have layette, one-of-a-kind Christening and Bris gowns and gifts, personalized stools and piggy banks, educational and fun toys, and a wide selection of books. We also carry classic traditional baby and children’s apparel by Lilly Pulitzer, Papo D’Anjo, Florence Eisman, Kissy Kissy, Petit Bateau and many more! All gifts are elegantly wrapped in their “exclusive” gift-wrap, perfectly finished with a bow!
Beautiful Beginnings also offers traditional and contemporary, finely crafted furniture for nurseries and big kids rooms. Our design team will help you pick fabrics from designers like Serena and Lily, Bella Notte, Maddieboo, and Lulla Smith for custom linens, bedding and window treatments. We have a large selection of chandeliers, lamps, clocks, wall hangings and picture frames that are used to help create a personalized nursery, big kids’s room or playroom. In-home consultations and design services are available to ensure perfection!
We know the stress that comes with being a mom and we are here to help you! Along with our team of professional designers, we offer one-on-one baby registration. We will happily show you what you need and take the worry out of registering! We also offer professional event coordination!
